Bareboat Chartering (104) (Intermediate Coastal Cruising)

Prerequisites: Basic Keelboat Sailing and Basic Coastal Cruising Certification (Course 101&103)

General Description: An advanced cruising Standard for individuals with cruising experience. The individual can act as skipper or crew of a 30 - 50 foot boat sailing by day in coastal waters. The Standard includes knowledge of boat systems and maintenance procedures.

Price per person sharing a double cabin: Euro 1300.
Single cabin surcharge: Euro 650.
A minimum of 2 students are required.
For groups of 4 persons 15% discount is applied on the above price.
For groups of 6 persons 20% discount is applied on the above price.

Above price includes: Instructor’s fee, Yacht with equipment, course material, taxes, harbour fees, fuel.
Above price does not include: Air tickets, transfers, provisions.

Practical Skills:
1. Boat check and preparation
2. Boat handling, tacking and jibing
3. Advanced sail trimming
4. MOB recovery methods under sail (Figure 8 and Quick stop) and under power
5. Maneuvering and anchoring, getting a fix.
6. Night sailing
7. Evaluation
