The Saronic Gulf or Gulf of Aegina forms part of the Aegean Sea and defines the eastern side of the Isthmus of Corinth. The Saronic Gulf has numerous of beautiful coasts and places for someone to visit. Its nodal place between in the mainland and Cyclades give the peculiarities and the variety of landscapes. Aegina..the city of Aegina is the capital city of the island and it's located on the west side.It's built amphitheatrically towards the sea. When you enter the harbor, the small, white church of Saint Nikolas welcomes you. Your first impression is the modern type classical buildings, which are located along the sea front of the island and have terrestrial shade colors which make them look even more beautiful at sunset.In the enchanting atmosphere of the night you can have fun and dance at the clubs in town.The buildings in Aegina have a neoclassical architecture with folk elements.The beauty of the island is undisputable and for many decades, many Greek and foreign artists and literary writers preferred to visit this island.In the narrow streets of the island there are colorful houses and beautiful flowers along with picturesque shops and taverns.Aegina hosts many archeological sites as well as places of worship and is an attractive destination for the seekers of true greek culture.

Poros...
where the Historic Clock of the island is imposing from the distance on the highest top of the hill, among prickly pears and pine trees. It was built in 1927, it is visible from every part and it is the jewel of the town. Poros is the island of peace, romance and jauntiness.It is overgrown with pine trees which reach the rugged shores or the sandy beaches. Salamis
is the largest Greek island in the Saronic Gulf, about 1 nautical mile (2 km) off-coast from Piraeus and about 16 km west of Athens. The chief city, Salamina (city), lies in the west-facing core of the crescent on Salamis Bay, which opens into the Saronic Gulf. The island's main port, Paloukia, in size second only to Piraeus, is on the eastern side .The bigger island of the Saronic gulf, where the naval battle of 480BC took place .An Island with rich cultural heritage.

Epidaurus
counts on some other characteristic monuments that also make it very unique. One of them is the Ancient Theatre, a monument whose magnificence remains until today. A part from the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, there is also another theatre in the area, the Epidaurus Little Theatre, which was is also used today to host musical and theatrical performances. However, the area of Epidaurus is not only famous for its ancient monuments, but also for its greenery and natural beauty. The traditional villages of Ancient and Nea Epidaurus, the beautiful monasteries, the impressive gorges and the lovely beaches dot the landscape. Ancient Epidaurus is a relaxing place that attracts a few tourists in summer. In winter, it is quiet and its inhabitants make their living from fishing and agriculture.Above this village, there stands a ruined Medieval Castle.

Methana
is situated on a volcanic (the Methana Volcano) peninsula, attached to the Peloponnese. The town is located north of the road connecting to the rest of the Peloponnese and Galatas. The peninsula is entirely of volcanic origin and contains over 30 volcanic eruption centers. The last volcanic eruption occurred near present-day Kameni Chora in 230 BC and a submarine volcano erupted in 1700. Famous writers such as Ovid, Strabo and Pausanias reported the last volcanic eruption in Methana. The peninsula is the northwestern most of the arc of the Aegean islands of which the active volcanic areas are Methana, Milos, Santorini and Nisyros. In the future, Methana (and the area of the Saronic Gulf) may expect other volcanic eruptions...

Hydra
is a mountainous island that has a historic port town in the traditional amphitheater shape attracts visitors year round. Hydra has been preserved to its appearance as it was in the Hydra 1800's, a time of great prosperity. A former jet setter haven and still popular with the rich and famous, Hydra suits the party animal and the serenity seeker alike. With no cars (but plenty of donkeys!) the days are peaceful and many visitors like to sit by the waterfront at one of the town's many cafés or tavernas. Crowds fill the many clubs and tavernas at night. Also worth mentioning are the worship places: Monastery of Zourvas & Agia Efpraxia.
