Istion offers all types of yacht charters, with eleven bases throughout Greece and our newest base in Skradin, Croatia. From bareboat adventures to fully crewed luxury trips and day cruises, we cover every style of sailing holiday. Your level of experience helps us recommend the charter style that will make your holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. There is no need to be an expert. Many guests who sail with us have only a little experience or none at all.

Have you ever sailed before? Yes You have been on a sailing trip before and feel comfortable on board. A little bit You have been on a boat once or twice but would not call yourself experienced. No This is your first time or if you are unsure.

What kind of charter are you interested in?

This helps us understand what level of support you want on board and the type of holiday you have in mind. Some guests prefer to sail themselves, while others want a skipper or full crew so they can focus on the experience.

What kind of charter are you interested in? Bareboat You or someone in your group has a valid sailing licence and you want to handle the sailing yourselves. Skippered You want a relaxed trip with a professional skipper taking care of the sailing. Crewed You are looking at larger yachts, including motor yachts, with a full team on board for comfort and service. Day Cruise You prefer a shorter one day experience on the water.

Which area are you interested in sailing in?

Each sailing area has its own style, from calm waters to lively island hopping routes. This question helps us recommend itineraries and yachts that match the kind of holiday you want. Athens is a popular starting point with direct flights from around the world, and charter flights from many European countries also reach each of our bases in Greece.

Which area are you interested in sailing in? Cyclades Iconic islands like Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini. Saronic An easy, smooth route close to Athens with short distances between islands. Ionian Calm waters and green islands, starting from Lefkas, Preveza or Corfu. Dodecanese A mix of culture and island hopping, starting from Kos and Rhodes. Sporades Clear waters and Greece's largest marine national park, starting from Skiathos. Croatia The Adriatic coast and islands such as Kornati and Šibenik. How many people will be in your group?

Group size helps us suggest yachts with the right number of cabins and the right amount of space. Different boats suit different group sizes, and knowing how many people you are planning for helps us match you with options that will feel comfortable for everyone. Keep in mind that cabins are usually designed for two people.

How many people will be in your group? Up to 4 Ideal for couples or small families. Up to 6 Great for families or small groups of friends. Up to 8 Perfect for larger families or friend groups. Each type of yacht offers a different style of holiday. Some guests love the feeling of sailing, others prefer more space on board a catamaran, and some want the comfort and speed of a motor yacht. This helps us recommend the boats that best match what you have in mind.

The time of year affects availability, weather conditions and pricing. This question helps us check which yachts are available and suggest the best options for your dates. July and August are the busiest months. May, June, September and October offer warm weather with fewer crowds. If you do not have fixed dates yet, leave this blank and we will guide you.
