The sails may be down, but the memories of the 3rd Skradin Cup are still alive across the Adriatic. From May 9–16, sailors from around the world gathered once again in Croatia for a week filled with racing, adventure, celebration, and the unmistakable spirit that has made Skradin Cup one of the most exciting boutique regattas in the region.
Hosted by Istion Yachting, this year’s edition brought together crews aboard monohulls and catamarans for an unforgettable sailing journey along Croatia’s breathtaking Dalmatian Coast. From the charming atmosphere of Skradin to the crystal-clear waters surrounding Primošten, Trogir, Hvar and Čiovo, every destination offered postcard-perfect scenery and moments to remember.
The 2026 route delivered the perfect mix of competition and exploration. Across four exciting racing legs, crews experienced changing winds, beautiful coastal passages, tactical sailing conditions, and spectacular arrivals in some of Croatia’s most iconic sailing destinations. Yet, as always, Skradin Cup proved to be about much more than racing alone.
From the very first evening at the Welcome Ceremony in Skradin, the energy across the fleet was impossible to miss. The docks quickly turned into meeting points for sailors, friends, families, and adventurers sharing stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments together. Each day began with anticipation at the Skippers’ Briefing and ended with celebrations ashore, where local gastronomy, music, themed evenings, and the famous Skradin Cup side competitions brought everyone together.
The beloved side events once again became some of the highlights of the week:
• Best Crew Style Competition brought creativity and team spirit to the spotlight, with crews showcasing coordinated outfits, themed looks, and plenty of personality.
• Cook-Off! Competition transformed yacht galleys into floating kitchens, where crews impressed everyone with delicious onboard creations and culinary flair.
• Show-Off! Competition filled the night with music, costumes, dancing, and unforgettable performances inspired by this year’s “Sailors of the World” theme.
• Shoot-Off! Competition captured the week through the eyes of the participants, showcasing the beauty, emotion, and fun of life at sea.
