The 15th Catamarans Cup: A Triumphant Celebration of Sailing, Friendship & Greek Spirit
From October 25 to November 1, 2025, the Aegean sparkled with sails, smiles and unforgettable moments as the 15th edition of the Catamarans Cup made waves once again. More than fifteen nationalities joined us for a week of racing, celebration and connection.
A Week of Action & Celebration
Departing from Alimos Marina in Athens, this year’s fleet traced a stunning route through the Saronic and Argolic Gulf, visiting Poros, Porto Heli, Paralio Astros and Nafplion. Each day brought racing, shore-side camaraderie and themed events - from the opening ceremony and Best Crew Style competition in Athens, to the Cook Off! in Poros, the Olympus Night Party in Porto Heli, the BBQ in Paralio Astros, and the grand Awards Night in Nafplion.

Sat 25 Oct - Athens (Alimos Marina)
Crews arrived, checked in, and settled into their catamarans at Alimos Marina. The evening set the tone for the week with the Opening Ceremony, Crew Presentations, a warm Welcome Dinner, and the lively Best Crew Style Competition at Rubirosa Events.
Sun 26 Oct - Poros
The regatta officially began with the 1st Leg: Athens → Poros. After a spirited day of sailing, crews gathered for the Prize-Giving Ceremony and the always-entertaining Cook Off! competition at the Syggros Building.
Mon 27 Oct - Porto Heli
Day three brought the 2nd Leg: Poros → Porto Heli, filled with great racing and even greater energy. The evening at the Nautica Bay Hotel featured dinner, the dazzling Olympus Night Party, and the creative Show Off! competition.
Tue 28 Oct - Paralio Astros
The fleet continued with the 3rd Leg: Porto Heli → Paralio Astros, greeted by sunshine and smooth seas. The day ended with an outdoor BBQ and Prize-Giving at the Lawn Pier, surrounded by music and laughter.
Wed 29 Oct - Nafplion
The regatta concluded with the 4th Leg: Paralio Astros → Nafplion, where the final race and celebrations took place. That evening, sailors gathered at the Nafplion Pier for the Final Awards Ceremony, the Shoot Off! photo contest results, and a heartfelt Farewell Dinner beneath the lights.
Thu 30 Oct - Free Sailing Day
Crews enjoyed a relaxed day exploring nearby islands and savoring the last moments of freedom under sail.
Fri 31 Oct - Return to Alimos Marina
The fleet sailed back to Athens, wrapping up a week of competition, connection, and celebration.
Sat 1 Nov - Check-out & Farewells
The week came to a close with warm goodbyes, shared memories, and promises to return for next year’s adventure.
Celebrating Fifteen Years of Success
This milestone edition reaffirmed why the Catamarans Cup has become a “must-do” for cruising catamaran enthusiasts around the world. What began in 2010 has grown into a vibrant international community; a mix of serious skippers, casual crews, families and friends, united by a love for the sea and the joy of sharing it.
