This is the season when locals linger longer at their tables, when the harbors fall silent, and every anchorage feels as if it belongs only to you.
Start from Alimos and set sail for a week of calm seas and slower rhythms; a gentle voyage through the timeless islands of the Saronic Gulf. Each stop along the way invites you to pause, breathe, and rediscover the simple beauty of autumn in Greece.
Day 1 - Alimos to Aegina
Depart from Alimos in the soft afternoon light, the sails filling with the first whisper of autumn wind. As the city slips behind, the horizon opens wide and golden. Arriving in Aegina, the island greets you with the earthy sweetness of pistachio harvests and the aroma of thyme honey from the market stalls. Anchor near Perdika or Moni Island, where the sea remains warm and still. As dusk descends, dine quietly on deck while the sun sets behind the Peloponnese and the night settles over calm waters.
Day 2 - Aegina to Agistri
Morning brings a short sail across a tranquil stretch of sea to Agistri. The small island feels timeless in late October, its beaches empty and its coves untouched. Swim in the crystal-clear waters of Aponisos Bay, still holding the warmth of summer, and enjoy a simple lunch on board with ripe figs, feta, and olive oil. As the day slows, take a moment for quiet reflection, perhaps a gentle stretch or meditation as the sun fades in shades of amber and rose.
Day 3 - Agistri to Poros
Sail slowly toward Poros through waters so calm they reflect the sky like glass. The approach to the island feels almost dreamlike. Step ashore and wander through the Lemon Forest, where the air hangs heavy with the scent of citrus and damp earth. By evening, find a harbor café overlooking the bay and sip a local citrus aperitif as the town glows gold beneath the last light of day.

Day 4 - Poros to Hydra
Leave Poros in the early morning hush and let the boat glide over blue horizons toward Hydra. The island rises gracefully from the sea, its stone houses cascading down the hillsides. Without cars or noise, Hydra invites you to wander slowly through its narrow lanes and discover small artisan shops and quiet galleries tucked between century-old walls. As darkness falls, dine by candlelight on grilled octopus and red wine, the harbor lights flickering softly across the water.
Day 5 - Hydra to Spetses
Begin your day with yoga or journaling on deck as the first sunlight touches the sea. The sail to Spetses is gentle, the water calm and luminous. Once ashore, explore the island by bicycle or traditional horse carriage, winding past neoclassical mansions and pine-framed shores. Lunch at a family-run taverna offers the simple perfection of grilled fish, olive oil, and a chilled glass of local rosé. The afternoon lingers lazily, each hour dissolving into the next.
Day 6 - Spetses to Methana to Alimos
Sail eastward toward Methana, where volcanic coves beckon for a morning swim. The water here carries a hint of warmth from beneath the earth, a rare and quiet gift of nature. Continue north under the soft autumn sun, the coastline unfolding in hues of ochre and blue. By evening, return to Alimos Marina as the day fades, ending your voyage with a relaxed seaside dinner along the Athens Riviera.

Day 7 - Alimos (Disembarkation)
On your final morning, the city begins to stir while you sip coffee on deck, watching the first light play over the water. After a week of sea, light, and stillness, you return not only with memories of the islands but with the slower rhythm of the voyage itself - a reminder that the essence of autumn sailing lies not in the distance traveled, but in the quiet presence found along the way.
Guest Spotlight
“The Saronic in October felt like another world — no rush, no noise, just us, the sea, and the scent of pine. It wasn’t about doing more, but being more.”
