Dakos Salad
A fresh and simple salad that’s packed with tons of flavor
(4 servings)
All you need is:
• Dakos barley rusk -toasted whole-grain bread may be substituted.
• Tomatoes -the freshest you can find.
• Red onion -finely chopped.
• Extra virgin olive oil.
• Feta Cheese.
• Kalamata olives -sliced and pitted.
• Dried oregano.
• Sea salt.
• Capers.
• White Balsamic vinegar.
Instructions:
• Lightly wet the barley rusk and place it at the bottom of the bowl.
• Grate the fresh tomatoes on top of the bread and toss in the chopped onion, olives, and feta cheese.
• Top everything off with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and dried oregano.
Plate & enjoy!!
